Please remember that properly installed solar systems require technologically advanced processes of measuring and data
acquisition. Sungate has refined this process in order to minimize any inconvenience to your household, yet still meet the
stringent requirements necessary for the approvals needed by local, state and/or federal agencies. Working with these
agencies can sometimes take time. Please be patient as we work diligently with these agencies to make your wait time as
short as possible.
Your complete satisfaction is our highest priority. Here is what to expect during the installation:
- One of our System Designers will come out to your home and verify all the critical data needed to design, permit and
build your system. Everything from the square footage of your roof to the amount of shade inhibiting the systems
performance will be measured. Additionally, your existing electrical service will be analyzed to ensure its compatibility
with the upgrades. - Next, we will be diligently working with all local building departments and utility providers to ensure your system will
comply with all of their requirements and will work safely with your local electric grid. - Once we receive your building department approval and have your permit, you will be contacted by our production
department for an immediate project start. Your system will then be installed. - When the installation is complete, you will be asked to authorize the required documentation, validating the completion
of the project. Final payment will then be collected. - After completion we immediately notify the building department who then inspects your system to ensure that it
conforms to the plans we submitted and complies with the utility company's requirements. - Next we will test your system to validate energy yield but it will NOT be turned on yet. Remember, you are now your
own utility company and we must coordinate the merging of your system with the power grid. This cannot be
completed without final approval of your utility company. This important step is to ensure the system's compatibility
with the grid. - Once we receive notification of final approval from your utility company to operate your system we will contact you with
the green light and instruct you as to how to turn it on.
