Brad Smith is the CEO and Founder of Sungate Energy Solutions. Through his professional leadership team, Brad actively directs all operations of the company, from Marketing to Sales and Production and administration and accounting. Brad is a big believer in taking care of his customers and his employees. Brad has been in the construction industry for over 3 decades and understands all aspects of the home improvement industry. He also obtained a Masters Degree from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Brad is no stranger to the Home Improvement Industry. Having spent several years, working his way through college building and personally improving homes as a contractor, then 8 years working for home Improvement companies as a field representative and manager, he spent the last 20 years as a successful business owner and operator.

Brad's goal is to help homeowners improve their homes with not just a beautiful home improvement, but one that saves them money and helps the environment. With his vast experience in the industry, Brad has carefully researched and selected the best products available in the industry. These products offer quality and in many cases quickly pay for themselves in energy savings. He has researched products that offer low maintenance, value and that increase your homes value. These products also offer energy solutions, such as Solar Home Energy systems, Energy Efficient Windows and Exterior Coating and Domestic Solar Hot Water Heating systems.

Mike Haines has been involved in the home improvement business for over 40 years as a general contractor with offices from coast to coast. His work in the industry has been instrumental in the success of a number of companies. His experience includes everything from managing large home improvement firms to representing some of the industry's most valued manufacturers.

Mr. Haines' work at Sungate as the Chief Operation Officer helps keep the company focused on delivering the best quality products the industry has to offer for Sungate customers with the finest warranties that surpass all other companies.

Haines indicates that, "Efficiency is key. Quality products, installation and ongoing service are the things that make Sungate standout in the crowd. My job is to make that happen by providing customers with the relationship they deserve with their home energy solutions specialist."

Hal is Sungate's Controller. Hal brings many years of accounting and finance experience to Sungate. He is responsible for all accounting and financial reporting. He works closely with Senior Management to ensure that Sungate utilizes the most efficient and current accounting practices. He holds a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Hal’s dedication, precision and attention to detail makes him a very valuable asset to Sungate's Executive and Administrative team.

My name is Terri Rivers. I operate out of the corporate office located in San Diego, Ca. and have been with SUNGATE ENERGY SOLUTIONS for two years.

My course of study and ongoing training coupled with fifteen years in Human Resources are a testament to the enjoyment I gain from my chosen field of work. I am one of Sungate's newer staff members. I handle the day to day accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. I have over five years of accounting experience. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management.

My name is Scott Johnson. It's my responsibility to see that our dedicated Sungate employees get their well deserved paycheck each week. I also assist our Human Resources Manager in any way possible. Bill Castleberry is Sungate's "man in the field." There is a tremendous amount of responsibility involved in the proper handling of scheduling, verification of measurements and other technical specifics involved in properly installing a customer's home improvements - plus working with the manufacturers city and county permit offices and and trained installation crews to coordinate everything.

Bill does it all. As Sungate's Chief Field Supervisor for the Northern California locations, he ensures that it gets done properly - the first time! Helping homeowners enjoy their new energy efficient and home beautifying products as quickly as possible is a major objective and Sungate and Bill Castleberry makes this effort his personal priority.

Angela Martens has served Sungate Energy Solutions in a number of capacities since 2005, first in the Production division of Sungate and then Sales. Angela's exceptional customer service and organizational skills are fully utilized in her role as Office Administrator for the Northern California office. Everything from processing of contracts, customer service and event coordination fall upon her desk.

Her years of office and event experience are an asset to the Northern California Sungate office.

Mark is a highly respected member and mentor to many in the home improvement industry with a rich history in this business serving the residential community for a number of years.

My name is Jack Butler. I operate out of the corporate office located in San Diego, Ca. and have been with SUNGATE ENERGY SOLUTIONS for 16 years.

My course of study and ongoing training coupled with sixteen years in production are a testament to the enjoyment I gain from my chosen field of work. I am responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the San Diego Production Staff.

My responsibility is to assign and coordinate all product installations. I oversee our customers permit process and CAD development.

My goal is to give 150% of my expertise to all our SUNGATE customers.

Jacks’ overall direction in our production department and constant product training gives SUNGATE the cutting edge in delivering the best installation any energy systems integrator can offer.

Installation is very important. We stand behind our products with pride. In the case of our solar panels, for example, we have a twenty-five year customer guarantee. This means that everything we do must be done right - the first time. It's my job to make sure that is exactly what happens.

Erin O'Connor moved to San Diego in 2005 from Northern California - the South Lake Tahoe area. She attended San Diego State University and graduated in 2008. Erin immediately sought work in the home improvement industry where she learned a number skills relating to customer service and adminstrative tasks during her initial 3 years of experience.

Sungate was lucky to find Erin a short time thereafter. Her ability to keep the many important tasks relating to great customer service well organized and her charming out going personality has made her a tremendous asset to the customer-oriented Sungate team. Erin is instrumental in helping to keep the ongoing flow of work in Sungate's San Diego office efficient.

I am the Call Center Director here at Sungate Energy Solutions. I have been with the company for six years now and I can honestly say that I would not want to work any where else. I started at the bottom and through the years worked my way up to the top.

This company is the kind of place where if you have talent and want to succeed it does not go unnoticed. I went from making cold calls to working in our scheduling department.

After a year I became manager of the scheduling department. This department is sort of the hub of the company. They are the middle man between marketing and sales. After two years of managing that department I was promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager. After working hard and proving my devotion to the success of the company I became the Call Center Director which is my current position.

I went to school for criminal justice and when I finished I thought that was the field I would go into. My enjoyment and level of satisfaction that I got from working with Sungate quickly changed my mind. Not only is this a fun and exciting place to work, it also a company that you know at the end of the day you have made a difference in peoples lives and the future of our planet.

It is very gratifying to work for a place where you know, for every customer gained, is a contribution to the future of our planet. All of products are top of the line, energy efficient products. Our product line will result in our customers getting a 100% return on investment, not many companies that can make that claim. The entire staff, from the bottom up, is devoted to pioneering the push for green products for homes in America. This company is not just about making money.
